Bioshoot human rabies vaccine shall be injected intramuscularly in the deltoid of upper arm, for children it is recommended to inject the vaccine into the muscle at anterolateral thigh. Post-exposure immunization: generally patients are injected with 1 dose vaccine on Day 0, 3, 7, 14 and 28, total 5 doses during complete immunization procedure, the same dose for adults and children.

All cases of suspected rabies exposure should be treated immediately to prevent the onset of clinical symptoms and death. Post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) consists of wound treatment, the administration of rabies vaccines based on WHO recommendations, and if indicated, the administration of rabies immunoglobulin.
